Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland City offers a total of 80 guest rooms to suit all budgets and guest requirements, ranging from our standard studio and one bedroom suites on levels 1-3, to one and two bedroom fully serviced apartments on levels 7-14. All rooms are air-conditioned with in-room personal thermostat controls and feature personal balconies, offering views of downtown Auckland, Sky Tower or the harbour, harbour bridge and North Shore, and include our own personalised bathroom amenities.

Located on levels 1-3, the Studio rooms are decorated in neutral colours with warm soft furnishings and kitchenette facilities, including dishwasher and microwave. Rooms feature either one King Bed or two Single beds, business desk and bathroom with bath or bath/shower. All Studio Rooms provide tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar, refrigerator, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, broadband internet access, clock/alarm/radio, Sky TV, and direct dial phones.
Also located on levels 1-3, the One Bedroom Suites provide more space with a separate lounge and bedroom. Kitchenette facilities, including dishwasher and microwave, business desk and bathroom with bath or bath/shower are provided. Rooms feature either one King Bed or two Single beds, plus a fold out double sofa bed in the lounge, as well as all the facilities of our Studio Rooms.
Located on levels 6-14, the One Bedroom Apartments (City View) have great views of downtown Auckland and Sky Tower, and include full kitchen facilities, washing machine & dryer. Rooms feature a Queen Bed, with some apartments also providing a fold out double sofa bed in the lounge. Amenities include tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar, refrigerator, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, broadband internet access, clock/alarm/radio, Sky TV, and direct dial phones.
Located on levels 7-13, the One Bedroom Apartments (Harbour View) have spectacular views of the Viaduct and Auckland Harbour, the bridge and Auckland's North Shore. Full kitchen facilities, washing machine & dryer are standard in each room. Rooms feature a Queen Bed, with some apartments also providing a fold out double sofa bed in the lounge. Amenities include tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar, refrigerator, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, broadband internet access, clock/alarm/radio, Sky TV, and direct dial phones.
Located on levels 8-13, the Two Bedroom Apartments have larger balconies and spectacular views of the Viaduct and Auckland Harbour, the bridge and Auckland's North Shore. Two separate bedrooms and lounge, with full kitchen facilities, washing machine & dryer are provided. Featuring King, Queen and Single Beds and sleeping up to six people – perfect for a family stay. Amenities include tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar, refrigerator, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, broadband internet access, clock/alarm/radio, Sky TV, and direct dial phones.
Located on the lobby level of Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland City, One Hobson Restaurant offers guests an intimate dining experience with an extensive outdoor balcony area.
Open for breakfast and dinner, One Hobson serves modern New Zealand a la carte dining in the evening and a generous breakfast buffet each morning.
One Hobson Restaurant & Bar also provides a great location for meetings, cocktails and private dinner functions.
One Hobson provides a Room Service menu for breakfast and dinner, and we also have a 24 hour Room Service menu for those guests requiring a meal at those ‘unusual hours', day or night.
Want to keep up your fitness routine away from home? We have a fully equipped gym including tread mill, exercise bike, cross trainer, free weights, rowing machine and more, and you can do it all while watching our large screen TV.
If swimming is more your style, we have the answer – a selection of a 20 metre lap pool, spa pool or leisure pool, all heated and indoors.
Want to turn up the heat a little? Then try our sauna, open from 5:00pm – 10:00pm.
